Hazendal Wine Estate was established in 1699, making it one of South Africa's oldest wine farms. Set in the Bottelary Hills outside Stellenbosch, about 20 minutes from Cape Town's CBD, it has a 5-star hotel and spa, gardens designed by landscape designer Leon Kluge, and the Simonsberg mountains as a backdrop.
Event Spaces
- Grand Hall: 424 m², for up to 380 guests. Conferences take 12 to 380 delegates. Weddings take 250 guests without a dance floor or 180 with one.
- White Garden: an open-air garden for up to 150 at a ceremony, 120 cocktail or 80 at a reception.
- Hotel Ballroom: arched ceilings, rigging points and stacking doors onto a courtyard.
- Car Pavilion: a steel-and-glass space for launches, events and shoots, with dry hire available.
- Siyalima private dining, afternoon tea, and the Hazendal Yacht.

Conferences, weddings, concerts, concept events, product launches, photo and film shoots and private dining.
Packages and Practicalities
- Full-day and half-day conference packages (minimum 12 delegates) include teas, snacks, fruit, lunch and water.
- Wedding packages include banquet tables, chairs, glassware and crockery, an indoor dance floor, waiters and barmen.
- Hotel suites and villas on the estate.
- Hazendal is a cashless estate, and only registered service animals are allowed.
- Note the new entrance: from Ronelle Street via Kruis Street.
Fun Casino Evenings at Hazendal
Fun Casino Entertainment has entertained at Hazendal in 2024, at year-end and corporate functions for 30 to 90 guests. The Grand Hall's scale leaves plenty of room for a full casino floor next to dinner.
