Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate sits in the Paarl-Franschhoek valley in the Cape Winelands, surrounded by mountains. Its Jack Nicklaus Signature 18-hole championship course opened in 2003 and is consistently ranked among South Africa's best: SA's Top 100 Golf Courses rated it third in the country for 2021 to 2023 and a top-ten course again in 2024. Golf Days at Pearl Valley
Pearl Valley is built for corporate golf days. From the estate's golf-day pack:
- A dedicated coordinator from start to finish, and a golf day planner to help you organise.
- One-tee starts for 16 to 40 players, two-tee starts for 60 to 80, and shotgun starts for up to 120 players (Thursdays).
- 64 shared golf carts with GPS, which can show your branding.
- Prize-giving venue included in the booking, with projector, screen and PA system.
- Branding and waterhole options, personalised nearest-the-pin and longest-drive markers, driving range, Golf Academy clinics and a fully stocked golf shop.
Conferences and Meetings
- Conference venue: 50 banquet, 50 cinema, 50 conference style or 30 U-shape. Half-day and full-day packages include teas, a plated lunch, an HD laser projector, cordless and lapel microphones, high-speed Wi-Fi and an events coordinator.
- Boardroom: a newly renovated six- to twelve-seater with magnificent views of the course, a flat screen, HD camera, flip charts and a backup generator.
- The Valley Restaurant: the clubhouse restaurant seats up to 230 guests, with views over the course and the Simonsberg mountain. It is often used for prize-givings.
Dietary requirements can be accommodated on request, and bespoke menus and packages can be arranged.
Stay and Play
The Pearl Valley Hotel is about 100 metres from the clubhouse, and the estate offers a spa, gym, pool, walking and mountain-bike trails and horse riding, so golf days and conferences can easily become overnight retreats.
Fun Casino Evenings at Pearl Valley
Fun Casino Entertainment has entertained at Pearl Valley since 2024, at charity fundraisers and golf-day evenings for 100 to 150 guests. A casino evening after the prize-giving keeps the competition going long after the last putt.
