Pecanwood Golf & Country Club
Pecanwood Golf & Country Club is the country club of the private Pecanwood Estate, on the banks of Hartbeespoort Dam and framed by the Magaliesberg. Its course was the first Jack Nicklaus course in Africa (officially opened by Nicklaus in August 1998) and is one of five Jack Nicklaus Signature courses in South Africa. The clubhouse stands on a raised mound with views of the course, the dam and the mountains, and the signature par-3 13th runs along the water.
Corporate Golf Days
Pecanwood describes itself as a benchmark for corporate golf days, and has been ranked among the best in the business for almost two decades. Groups of 12 or more players get discounted green fees, and the estate has a driving range, pro shop and three practice greens.
The Boat Club
The Boat Club faces the marina, with an outside terrace, a garden and children's play areas. It serves casual food (finger snacks, burgers and braai platters), and has televised sport and live music on weekends. OAK + CRU, the estate's family-run food company, also caters intimate events.
Fun Casino Evenings at Pecanwood
Fun Casino Entertainment has entertained at Pecanwood's Boat Club in 2026, at a 30th birthday for around 40 guests. A casino evening by the water after a round on the Nicklaus course is a memorable way to end a golf day.
