Vodacom World Events is one of South Africa’s most prestigious five-star conference and event venues, situated at Vodacom World in Midrand, Gauteng, conveniently positioned off the N1 highway between Sandton and Centurion. For over two decades, Vodacom World has maintained a five-star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa — one of a select few venues to hold this distinction — and has built an outstanding reputation for delivering world-class events with seamless professionalism.

Event Spaces and Capacity

Vodacom World Events offers a comprehensive range of fully customisable venues with plug-and-play functionality throughout. The iconic Vodacom Dome is the venue’s signature space — a 1,100m² theatrical environment with large dressing rooms, uninterrupted power supply, and expansive kitchen facilities, accommodating 600 for banquets, 800 for cocktail functions, or 1,000 cinema-style. The Connect 500 North and South rooms each seat 500 guests for conferences, banquets, and exhibitions, and can be combined into a single 1,000-guest space. The cinema-style Connect 100 and 200 auditoriums each accommodate 188 guests with double-volume ceilings and full AV infrastructure. The rooftop terrace offers a stylish outdoor space for sundowners overlooking Midrand. Four Gig Rooms provide flexible breakaway spaces for smaller meetings and events.

All venues include state-of-the-art L’Acoustics PA systems, Christie projectors, professional lighting rigs, high-speed Wi-Fi, UPS backup power, free parking, and a dedicated digital events studio for hybrid and virtual event delivery via Zoom, BlackLight, and Ujala platforms.
