Artistry JHB is a three-level food, music and theatre venue at 22 Fredman Drive, Sandown, Sandton, created by musician J’Something in partnership with BlackBrick. Each level has its own personality:
- The rooftop: a restaurant and the Heineken Rooftop Bar (“rooftop living in the heart of Joburg”).
- The middle level: live music and a 100-seat theatre.
- Street level: The Listening Bar, a lounge bar for the after-party.
There is also a pool area and an art gallery.
Events at Artistry
Artistry hosts live music, theatre and comedy shows, movie premieres, curated talks, house parties, guest DJ sets, themed events and private gatherings, including curated private gatherings on the rooftop. For private-event bookings, use the venue’s booking form.
Good to Know
- Open seven days a week, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Tables of 10 or more have a minimum spend per person and a service charge, and a deposit is required.
- Age policy: 23 and older, unless stated otherwise.
- No caps or shorts after 7pm, and the dining area is non-smoking.
Fun Casino Evenings at Artistry
Fun Casino Entertainment has entertained at Artistry since 2024, at year-end parties and birthdays for 45 to 90 guests. With a rooftop, a theatre and a lounge bar under one roof, a casino evening can move between levels as the night goes on.
